The catwalk show of GROUND-ZERO for Spring Summer 2015 brought back on stage the colorful hair highlights trend which we love for its rock rebel attitude.
We saw the highlights applied in several different hairstyles on the catwalk, both for long locks and short haircuts. Yellow, red, and cobalt blue temporary hair dye was used on the models’ hair to enhance the bright and colorful outfits of the collection with an even more edgy styling finish.
You may easily copy these runway looks at home with the use of chalk hair dye. I have personally tried this product which is non-toxic, easy to use, and rinses out with water and shampoo.
For a truly show-stopping look, match your temporary highlights with contrasting eyeliner and clear lip gloss or lip balm, as we saw it on the catwalk. Be creative with colorful elastic bands to create side-plaits or updos.
But first, arm yourself with hair chalk and save this article in your bookmarks so you can come back whenever in need of some runway-worthy, colorful highlights inspiration.
Happy coloring!
