Marks & Spencer returns to France after 10 years, the company has announced this weekend. The british chain wants to make a bold start in the french marketplace indeed, that’s why they picked to launch their first store on the highly prestigeous and always crowded Champs-Elysees, situated on the very heart of Paris, next to the boutiques of luxury brands and fashion Houses such as Louis Vuitton.
The company had closed all of its stores in Western Europe, France included, in 2001, having declared that they wanted to focus on the british marketplace.
