I came up this promising new greek fashion brand showing at Athens Fashion Week SS12. “Rien” by Penny Vomva Spring Summer 2012 collection was completely ruffle-adorned in a way that reminds me of the harmonious sea waves and fresh breeze in greek islands.
Baby blue, baby pink, white, beige and coral were used as a main palette, keeping the collection minimal, subtle and wearable both for hot days in the city, summer parties and relaxing getaways.
I liked these original curve-flattering shapes on the skirts more than the balloon hemlines and shorts which are strictly for the thin and skinny. “Rien” will surely be a brand to keep an eye on in the future.
