Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge chose plum and purple shades to wear at the Christmas Day Service in St Mary Magdalene Church, Sandringham, Norfolk. No surpises in cuts and lines, no fashion statement in this rather conservative public appearence.
The Duchess looked very chic as always, but I dare to say that Iwould have prefered to see her dressed in a lighter shade of purple, like lilac, or a totally different, brighter color to suit her young age, like in previous ultimately stylish public appearences she made in 2011. Or at least keep the same warm plum shade of her hat for the rest of the outfit too, instead of that sombre purple, + a more open neckline.
