See the ladies who shone bright on the red carpet at this year’s Golden Globes Award Ceremony thanks to their sartorial choices.
Best gown: Claire Danes. Sexy, sophisticated and spectacular
all in one. Such a refined taste.
Viva la Diva: Angelina Jolie looks statuesque. Literary. Only she could make white and red look that good together.
Maria Menunos and Katherine McPhee looked fantastic even though they kept it simple in classic feminine lines and hairstyles. Maria’s make-up and hairdo was all about old Hollywood glam, but the bright orange shade of the gown granted her a modern appeal. Katherine McPhee wore the most romantic of styles on the red carpet. I like the way that the sequins are sewn in waves on the dress, it gives movement to what would have otherwise been a monotonous and old-fashioned tulle frock.
Kyle Richards and Kelly Osbourne wore bright colors on the red carpet; fiery red for Kyle, eye-catching blue for Kelly, both dresses had sharp angles on their tops to contradict the classic figure-hugging lines of their skirts. I don’t get the white hair of Kelly though. What for?
Best jewelry; Kyle Richards’ set of choker and earrings (classy with a tiny bit of fetish) and Maria Menunos’ two-tone earrings.
Quite there…
Piper Perabo is too much of a fairytale but at the same time too minimal, as is Stacy Keibler. Something’s missing. Must be the oomph!
NFW! What was Rachel Evan Wood thinking? Looks like Odette at the moment of tranformation from woman to swan… or was it a peacock? SCARY!
Speaking of swans, Black Swan Natalie Portman has changed for pink and was swallowed by her extravagant gown. See you next year girls.
I liked Claire Danes best of all! She looked so classy but fresh at the same time! I loved her makeup too.
