Celebrity fashion and music videoclips makeup artist, Popi K., created a fun and natural-looking girlie makeup look for the beach, with wonderful Barbie-like pink lips and lids, perfectly suited for the photoshoot of Eleni Kyriacou’s Spring Summer 2013 collection of sheer dresses.
The model starring in the photoshoot is Stefania Novikova.
“The shades that we chose are pale and move along the color palette of pink, which is my favorite color and also a color that suits all women, regardless of their hair or skin color”, says Popi. “I started by applying RADIANT Illuminator on the eyelids. Then I used KRYOLAN stick makeup and transparent powder to stabilize and prevent the skin from getting oily under the sun”
Eyes
“I applied the NYX base foundation, which I can only order from the USA, to give greater intensity to the color of the matte eyeshadows that I intended to use. I covered the entire eyelid with a soft beige shade to serve as a base and I applied a soft pink eyeshadow to the inner corner of the eyes. Then I used a slightly darker shade between pink and fuchsia to define the outer corner of the eye and blended the two together to erase the lines. One shade was blended into the other for a sweet result”
“I applied RADIANT eyeliner pencil in white to the inside of the lower eyelid for larger and fresher eyes, and a fine line of purple eyeshadow under the lower eyelashes. I finished the eye makeup with a rich layer of RADIANT Super Lash Mascara”
Lips & Blush
“I used KORRES lipliner in a natural shade to define Stefania’s lips, then my beloved color pot lipstick from KRYOLAN. The look was completed with MAC blusher in a pink shade on the cheekbones”
Bonus Tip: “Follow the trend of the season for slightly thicker eyebrows”
