Avant Premiere UK‘s food and fashion event The Fashion Cafe at The Lekkerbek last Tuesday was a kaleidoscope of colors and flavors. Among the delicious cocktails and canapes swirling around the guests, I was delighted to discover a pool of new talent with fresh ideas and innovative approaches to accessories, fine jewellery and apparel from all across Europe and Asia, most of them making their first steps in the UK fashion market. And it’s with the same delight that I would like to present a first selection of them to you today.
Let’s step into The Fashion Cafe.
VENUE AND AMBIENCE
FASHION
It was a world of color pop at the display of Ambersouk Jewellery by Stefania Indelicato. Precious stones in fine designs and amazingly bright color combos made by nature, were juxtaposed to colorful macarons. My favorite; the little lilac Buddha with a tiny diamond on his forehead (pic. 4)
In my opinion, this one was the most imaginative food and fashion presentation of the evening; precious jewellery mixed with candy. Bespoke jeweller and gemologist Mara Hotung presented little marvels like rings with mother of pearl charms and sculpted skull cufflinks from crystal quartz. Those citrine ananas earrings (pic.4 ) were love at first sight.

Utterly classy, eclectic, and, most of all, cosmopolitan, Ross & Brown‘s luxury sunglasses are each inspired by one specific place on one specific moment in time.
My pictures don’t do justice to gemologist Alexandra Alberta‘s delicate and refined jewellery. I was astonished by the unique way that she combines her colorful stones and unusual precious metal patterns on each piece, giving classic jewellery a joyful and youthful finish, without them losing any of their timelessness.

Designed for a traveller by a traveller, EVJ London gives you the flexibility to design your ring with the stone that you want, in the shape that you prefer. Just beautiful!
