As the Fashion Saves Lives Sale of Save The Children is approaching its end this weekend, I heard that one of the most expensive pieces, this outstanding little dress of Harper Beckham, worth over £3000, is on a current bid of only £150 – and I thought I should share this info with any fashionable and charitable mum might read this.
The dress is a warm raspberry color, embroidered with colorful Swarovski crystals and flower appliques. It can be viewed in Mary’s Living and Giving Shop for Save The Children at Primrose Hill and bids can be made before the silent auction ends Sunday at 4pm.
Victoria Beckham donated 25 specially curated outfits from the wardrobe of arguably the most stylish little girl in the world, Harper, in benefit of the celebrity-backed sale. Other celebrity donators of kids’ clothes and accessories for Fashion Saves Lives included Kate Moss, Melanie C, Fearne Cotton, Jade Jagger, Erin O’Connor, Mary Portas, Stanley Tucci, Ozwald Boateng, Penny Lancaster, Alex Gerrard, Rachel Stevens, JB Gill, Nick Frost, Sam Bailey, and Jo Joyner. 100% of the money raised will go towards Save the Children’s work to end child deaths from preventable causes by 2030.
There are some items left, and these can be viewed in the Primrose Hill shop (109 regents park road, Ldon, NW1) and the Hampstead Shop (64 Oriel Place, Hampstead high street, London, NW3). For more information and to purchase an item from the sale, visit savethechildren.org.uk/fashionsaveslives
