The established Athens-based bridal Fashion House Tranoulis was among the brands which showed their new collections of bridal dresses for 2017 during Athens Bridal Fashion Week last month. The style of the collection was romantic sexy, featuring an abundance of transparencies on elaborate, feminine designs.
A wonderful dress featuring a white lace and sheer tulle bodice and an impressive full skirt in irridescent pastel blue color opened Tranoulis’ catwalk show amidst cheer and applause, followed by a succession of delicately embroidered dresses created in tasteful combinations of luxurious Italian satin, French tulle and Spanish lace.

A sparking dress featuring sheer lace and sequined panels was certainly one of the collection’s most head-turning pieces. But the most revealing dress of all was, undoubtedly, the dress that pop singer Shaya wore on the catwalk for the show’s finale. Designers Athina and Anastasios Tranoulis -the children of founder Theodoros- joined the singer for a triumphant catwalk finale marking Tranoulis’ 30 years in bridal fashion.
