While all eyes are on the talent inside the Kodak Theatre during the Oscars ceremony, Academy Awards parties taking place that same evening provide as much of a glorious fashion inspo.

Celebrity ladies, from acting legend Sharon Stone to young and daring Paris Jackson, turned heads in spectacular gowns and cutting-edge outfits at the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 32nd Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday, March 1o, 2024.
EMMY Award and GRAMMY Award-winning comedian Tiffany Haddish as one of the event’s co-hosts wore a statement mini dress featuring a voluptuous puffy trail on one side, while most celebrity guests opted for sparkly or transparent dresses – or both.
Paris Jackson’s braless outfit at Oscars party
American model, actress, and singer Paris Jackson, the only daughter of the late music icon Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe, made a bold entrance to the Elton John Foundation’s Oscars party, looking fresh in a totally transparent glittery black mesh dress with a double split leg from Giambattista Valli’s autumn winter 2023 collection.
She accessorized the revealing piece with a satin clutch bag and matching strappy peep toe sandals, kept her makeup natural and styled her hair in beach waves.
Another transparent dress, albeit less showing, was worn by Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, which combined panels of mesh, tulle and drapped fabric, in the same beige nude colour which the actress matched with glittering makeup in warm gold tones and jewelry also in gold a and warm colour stones.
Actress Elizabeth Hurley also sported a seductive design. The gold sequined featuring a single split leg and deep cleavage, worn with natural wavy hair.
Hurley’s look was total gold, complemented with a gold envelope bag and strappy platform sandals.
Celebrities in crystal-embellished gowns
Most celebrities attending the party sported sparkling outfits, but some of them went for crystal-embellished gowns in particular.
Sharon Stone was her glitziest self in a figure-hugging silver gown with a corset top and side frills coming down her hips. The sophisticated design was adorned with sparkling crystals on an elaborate lacey material.
Zoe Lister-Jones picked a mini-length corset-inspired outfit in total white, with dangling single crystals.
Julianne Hough, one the other hand, had crystals embroidered on the top of her sleek strapless black gown which was very reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour.
Glitz and glamour for a good cause
The annual Academy Awards® Viewing Party has supported the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s efforts to
raise millions for their life-saving work since its inception in 1992, and sold out this year after an
unprecedented demand. All funds raised during the evening will support the Foundation’s frontline
partners to prevent HIV infections, tackle stigma, and provide compassionate care to the most vulnerable communities worldwide.
“As a father and an AIDS advocate for over three decades, I want to see my sons grow up in a world where
AIDS, and the stigma and inequality that drives it, are history,” says Elton John, Founder, Elton John AIDS
Foundation.
“Movies have the power to spotlight human stories of struggle, inequality, hope and love – stories that can change the world,” adds Anne Aslett, CEO of Elton John AIDS Foundation. “Amidst the glitz, glamour and star studded elegance, we come together to harness the magic of cinema and the power of compassion to help change the world – they bring us closer to an AIDS-free future”.
