The Sky collection wants to empower the Kolchagov Barba woman to wear her voice and to represent her moods, allowing her clother to become an extension of her voice
A rediscovery of the sky, seen as the safe keeper of hopes, secrets and dreams, is the theme of the Spring Summer 2017 high fashion collection of Kolchagov Barba.
“A natural playground for colors, lighting, clouds, rainbows and aurorae capable to communicate via its shades and its moods, yelling via lighting and thunders or smiling and speaking softly in the first rays of dawn and dazzling its infinite beauty in the night”; the sky, as a concept, was sensitively interpreted and powerfully manifested in spectacular dresses presented by Kolchagov Barba on the catwalk at Melia White House during London Fashion Week.

The collection, dedicated “to our guardian angels”, combined sky blues, sunset pinks, stormy greens and black nights to unveil a new woman; one who can be sensual and innocent, strong and vulnerable, bright like the blue skies, passionate like a storm evening, soft and delicate like a cloudy day.
Overall, the collection is a sartorial representation of the celestial dome where, through the use of its soft color palette, light materials and elegant floaty creations, Kolchagov Barba explore the multiple angles of a woman. The Sky collection wants to empower the Kolchagov Barba woman to wear her voice and to represent her moods, allowing her clother to become an extension of her voice.
The hats and shoes accessorising the collection where specially designed by Kolchagov Barba for the catwalk show, created in collaboration with 8DIX and Claire Tobin respectively.
The makeup was done by ABCreativ with Pierre Rene professional makeup products.
