It was a cold day at the National Garden in Zappeion, Athens. It had stopped snowing only a few hours earlier. My appointment with the composer and performers of “I’m Freak” was set for Wednesday, the 1st February, in between the shooting of their videoclip.
I remembered DJ X ONE, who wrote the lyrics and music of the digital cd-single “SHUT UP AND DANCE”, since he was a member of the one and only Greek boyband of the late 90s, “ONE”. A producer now, DJ X ONE introduced me to the performers of “I’M FREAK”, Christos Alexandrou and Christiana Tzinioli as well as to another one of his late band members, Panos Tserpes, who also performs a dance track in “SHUT UP AND DANCE”, before the video shooting started.
The plot was really interesting as it tells the story of a lonely elf who wanders in the woods of Athens.
