It was an evening of inspiration for anyone who loves fashion. Men and women, bloggers, stylists, fashion journalists and trendsetters.
NewCult fashion company welcomed us at their Preview Store in Glyfada, in the suburbs of Athens, Greece, to present the Autumn/Winter 2013-14 collections of the brand names whose they are the exclusive importers.
What we saw were the unconventional, San Diego-founded IronFist, then Khujo, also founded in 2001, the refined Italian menswear label Dooa and the now classic value Majestic, founded in 1976 and adored by hiphopers, baseball and hockey enthusiasts ever since. Also, London-based Chunk and Boxfresh, this last one being a pioneer in streetwear since 1989. The fans of casualwear would then be excited with Teetrend, an Italian brand name with cool stamps on cotton t-shirts, Weekend Offender, and Smithy’s, which draws inspiration from clublife, electronic and acid house music. Greek accessories brand Clic Jewells showcased their women’s handbags and jewellry as a guest designer.
Berlin Tattoo Studio held a live Tattoo demonstration throughout the evening, gathering a crowd of interested onlookers. Sponsors of the Release Party included Lipton Tea, Monster Energy Drink and the patisseries Nouvelle with their delicious cupcakes.
